The name Rita Solari carries with it a long tradition, born in the world of tailoring and prêt-à-porter fashion, from the heart of Genoa to the evocative Piacenza Hills. But great stories evolve, and so it was for Paolo La Fauci, who looked beyond the past and transformed an opportunity into a mission: to revive forgotten lands in Ziano Piacentino, to restore vitality to nature, and to craft wines that narrate the beauty and authenticity of the territory.
What was once uncultivated and abandoned land has been reborn under his care. With dedication and respect for the environment, Paolo has regenerated 12 hectares of vineyards, converting them to certified organic viticulture. Today, every vine growing in these soils symbolizes sustainable and conscious agriculture—an effort that goes beyond winemaking: it is the desire to leave a positive legacy on the land and for future generations.
Thanks to this journey, the estate has obtained EU Organic Certification and FIVI recognition, ensuring a product that is more than just wine: it is the result of an authentic agricultural art, respectful of nature and of the health of consumers.
The beginning
2016
Paolo La Fauci, bringing with him the elegance and precision inherited from the world of ready-to-wear fashion, embarks on a new chapter. With vision and passion, he acquires and reclaims forgotten lands in the Piacenza Hills, marking the beginning of a winemaking dream.
2017
First harvest: the air of the Piacenza Hills fills with the scents of Malvasia, Barbera, Croatina, and Ortrugo grapes. The Tenuta Rita Solari journey begins.
2018
First official bottlings: Gutturnio and Barbera are the first wines to see the light, symbolizing the bond between the territory and the winemaker's hand.
2021–2023
Years of intense work: uprooting old, abandoned vineyards—with respect for nature and the landscape—and expanding the vineyard area. Over these years, the estate grew, consolidating its position as a sustainable agricultural project.
2023–2024
New vineyards are being created, new Crus are being created: the business is evolving with the planting of new varieties and vineyard parcels, enriching biodiversity and mapping the terroir.

Today
Tenuta Rita Solari boasts 12 hectares of vineyards, planted with eight different varietals: Malvasia, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, Ortrugo, Croatina, Barbera, and Merlot. A mosaic of flavors that reflects the richness of the Piacenza Hills and our commitment to organic farming.

La nostra promessa
Respect for nature
We cultivate every row according to the principles of organic viticulture, without forcing or cutting corners. Nature dictates the pace, and we follow it with patience and gratitude. We avoid any use of chemicals, preserve biodiversity, and allow the soil to breathe and regenerate, season after season.
Because for us, making wine means, first and foremost, taking care of the land.
Superior Quality
Each bottle is born from a clear idea: to produce authentic, elegant, and distinctive wines, distinguished by finesse, balance, and identity. From the manual selection of the grapes to the aging process, every detail is designed to enhance the potential of our terroir.
We believe in quality built with method, experience, and artisanal care, not in industrial shortcuts.
Artisanal care at every step
